THE VAULT

For the things worth keeping.

ABOUT US

The women behind The Vault have different backgrounds, different areas of knowledge, different ways of working and different things we are fascinated by. Between us there is writing, creativity, breathwork, movement, herbalism, death and dying, business, ritual, lived experience and plenty that doesn’t fit neatly into a professional bio.

That difference is part of the point.

The Vault isn’t built around one person being the expert or everyone agreeing on everything. It works because different women notice different things, know different things and bring different ways of experiencing the world into the same room.

We aren’t interested in positioning ourselves as women who have everything figured out. We bring what we know, stay curious about what we don’t, and create space for other women to do the same.

As The Vault grows, so will the women who contribute to it. New knowledge, skills, cultures, traditions, stories and perspectives should continue to enter the room. The Vault should never be limited by who happened to be standing at the door when we first opened it.

The Vault is rooted in the belief that women have the right to gather, exchange knowledge, build community and create culture together. We can acknowledge the matriarchal traditions and women’s spaces that came before us while making something that belongs to women now.

We want to build a place where the things women know, create, inherit, discover and pass between each other have somewhere to live - and somewhere to be kept safe.

The Vault. For the things worth keeping.

“We are each other’s magnitude and bond.”
